For PsychoSonic Soul Travels

All production, composition, beats, synth, are channeled into digital reality by Curtis Humphrey. I use :: guitar, bass guitar, Abelton Live, Reason, synths, and have worked with several female vocalists. Drea Drury has made guest appearances as a sonic sorceress, conjuring up voice magic. Currently, I am collaberating with polyrhythmic ecstatic vocalist Wahkeena Sitka Tidepool Ripple (See :: Kembwe).
      My intent is to sculpt frequencies and rhythms using existing music paradigms such as dub, glitch-hop, IDM, downtempo - and infuse the sound with a unique soul-provoking quality of conscious awareness and psychedelic mystery.
      I have been driven by the depth that other artists have touched me with their sound, at first European artists like Sphongle, The Orb, Banco De Gaia, Gabriel Le Mar, OTT. And more recently, the North American "Foresty, ambient" sounds of Interchill artists, Bluetech, Adham Shaikh, Phutureprimitive, Liquid Stranger, Peaking Goddess Collective, etc... I am very enthusiastic about what appears to be a mushrooming psychedelic festival scene in North America.
      My main residence is outside of Ashland, Oregon. I travel frequently up and down the west coast and Canada, and identify my greater home with Cascadia, or the west coast of North America. Kalpataru Tree performances are most likely to be found in this region.
      I am inspired by imagination, nature, God, the evolution of technology, and grateful for people writing really good software.
